These old wooden ski were Made by Northland Ski Company of St Paul MN.
for Lowe and Campbell Sporting Goods Company.  I love Northland skis as I
grew up on everything Northland: skis, snowshoes, sleds and hockey sticks.
We even raced M-16 sailboats made by Larson Boat company after they
bought Northland. Length - 7'

In addition to skis, the Splitkein factory produced garden furniture, camping equipment and yachts. This is a clean pair of unmounted kids Splitkein skis. Made in Norway. Length - 120 cm (3 ft 11 in).

These near mint Northland skis are some of my favorites. As a matter of fact, this is the same kind of ski that I skied on as a child in Minnesota and Colorado. I really love the look of these old natural hickory wooden skis. Length - 190 cm (6 ft 3 in).

1960s Asnes Marka Vintage Cross Country Skis with 3 pin bindings 1960s Asnes Marka Vintage Cross Country Skis

These skis were shipped to the United States in all of the different brands also had different colors, such as brown, teal, and red. Skiers in Norway were happy buying skis, but skiers in the United States were attracted to the other brands made by Asnes, due to the brands' myths and cult-status. Asnes skis were imported from Norway to the United States by Haugen Nordic Products, a division of Dartmouth Outdoor Sports, Hanover, NH. This pair of Norwegian Nordic skis are in great condition  with lignostone edges and have 3 pin bindings. Size: 200 cm long (6' 6")

1970's Gresshoppa Vintage Nordic Touring Skis with 3 pin bindings 1970s Gresshoppa Vintage Nordic Touring Skis

Gresshoppa literally means "Grasshopper" in Norwegian. Gresshoppa was a brand of AS Kolbjorn Knutsen & Co (KK) from Kristiana (Oslo) Norway. Founded in 1906, Kolbjorn Knutsen was a manufacturer of sporting and leather goods. These Vintage Nordic skis are in good condition and have Holmenkollen 3 pin bindings. Length - 210 cm long (6' 10")

1970s Head 360 Metal Vintage Skis 1970s Head Killy Metal Vintage Skis

Howard Head started the Head Ski Company with about $6,000 he had saved, and lost money his first year of business. That would soon change after his first few prototypes and then drastically by the time the Model 360 was introduced. The Model 360 was introduced originally in 1967 and was meant to be an all-purpose recreational version of the current racing ski made by Head. The Head 360 would go on to become one of the bestselling skis in history,  This pair of old head Skis has Salomon 727 Bindings. 205 cm long

1970's Madshus Vintage Cross Country Skis 1970s Madshus Vintage Cross Country Skis

Martin Madshus worked for four years with organ builder Peter Berntzen. During this time, he honed his woodworking skills. He decided to start a ski factory and did so in a barn in 1906 in Vardal, Norway. The first Madshus skis were made from single pieces of wood, trimmed, carved and finished with hand tools. Some of the tools used in this traditional production are still found on display at the present Madshus factory in the town of Biri. Madshus was a popular ski and one of my favorites. This pair of wooden skis are in good condition with lignostone edges and Normark 3 pin bindings. Length  205 cm (6' 9")

1970's Splitkein Bass Vintage Touring Skis with 3 pin bindings 1970s Splitkein Bass Vintage Touring Skis

Splitkein ski factory was established by Peter Ostby in 1935 and taken over by Laila Schou Nilsen in 1947. In 1950, Splitkein moved the factory to Honefoss. In addition to skiing, the factory   produced garden furniture, camping equipment and yachts. This is a really clean pair of Splitkein skis, one of my favorites made in Norway. Length - 7' long (213 cm)
