The vintage Hansen Split Tail skis are a variation of the early 1970s Hexcel Splitail, featuring a distinctive aluminum honeycomb core and a signature "swallowtail" design. The skis were produced for a short time by the Hanson company after it purchased the ski operations from Hexcel in the late 1970’s. This is a pretty rare pair old skis.
