This pin features the current logo of Breckenridge, a Summit County exclusive and one of my personal favorite mountains in Colorado. It's been owned by Vail Resorts since 1996, but its history dates back nearly 40 years prior. Breckenridge was founded in 1961 after several years of being the planning stages. It took less than a year for the ski area to be fully built and opened, and it has only grown since in both popularity and number of trails.
