The rooster has (unofficially) been a symbol of France since at least the Middle Ages In 1915 Rossignol started using it as their logo. As they also in time owned Dynastar & LOOK, they also carried the Rooster logo. Later in 1948, Le Coq Sportif joined with their own personalized Rooster logo, and then Lacroix joined the Rooster Logo theme. All used the Gallic rooster iconography on to give their products to show that they carried the French spirit. If you've ridden on French skis before, you may recognize the symbol on this patch! The French spirit of skiing has certainly traveled around the world, and if you feel it too, no matter where you are, we've got a patch for you.
