1960s Original Vintage Poster of Vail's Bridge Street

This is an original late 60's poster looking up Bridge Street, the original development of Vail Village. This is the second of the series of ski posters from the early days of Vail Colorado. Decorate your condo, home or office with this collectable old school poster of one of America's favorite winter play ground for skiers and snowboarders.

The Photographer - Doug Kilgour is a vintage ski photographer best known for his series of original lithograph posters capturing the early days of iconic Vail CO locations. Kilgour’s photographic art was made into Halftone Lithograph prints. As we have learned from Wikipedia, "Halftone is the reprographic technique that simulates a continuous‑tone photograph using a pattern of tiny dots of a single ink color. The dots vary in size and/or spacing so that, from a normal viewing distance, the human eye blends them into smooth gradients of light and dark."

More Info from Wikipedia, "In a halftone lithograph, the dot pattern applied to the lithographic plate is called a halftone screen (or halftone mesh). This is a fine grid of tiny dots that varies in size and/or spacing to simulate continuous tones and, when combined with multiple colors, reproduce full-color images.

Poster size - 24 x 36 inches.
