Brian Head Ski Area boosts that they are the highest resort town in America. The base is 9,800 ft. above sea level. The top is at 11,300 and claim to have some of the best skiing in southern Utah.
This poster is of Georg Hartlmaier from Germany was the ski school director at Brian Head and was also the first mountain manager. Georg was also very active with the PSISA, He was a ski racer and mountain climber with Mt. Everest as one of his conquests. Georg and his wife Stefanie owned a ski shop at Brian Head that is now run by Georg's son Georg.
