Alta's 70th Anniversary Ski PosterCelebrate one of Americans greatest ski areas with this poster designed to commemorate the history of Alta. Since Alta formally began as a ski area in 1938, eighteen individuals in some way contributed to Alta's rich ski history. They are all represented in this limited edition poster and all have been enshrined in the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Each Poster includes a certificate of Authenticity. This paper also lists the names of the people on the poster and the year that each was inducted into the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Featured on the poster is a historical action photo of the legendary skier, the late Dick Durrance, taken by his wife, Miggs, at Alta in the early 1940's. The poster was designed by Scott Engen and carries special endorsement by the U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame; the Utah State Historical Society; and the Utah Ski Archives.
