After breaking his leg skiing in 1948, French engineer Jean Beyl realized that there was much work to be done in the world of ski bindings. Two years later, Beyl invented the Look Nevada, and the year after that, the company was officially founded. Look quickly became the standard for excellence in the ski binding industry, and they still set that standard to this day.
Look's logo is iconic in and of itself; inspired by the geometric paintings of famous Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, it's an immediately recognizable image that has gone unchanged since it was first introduced in 1984. Pick up one of these stickers for yourself or a friend if you have a special place in your heart for Look's contributions to winter sports.
