The Roch Cup is a staple of Aspen history. The race commemorates Andre Roch, one of the most important pioneers in the development of Aspen Mountain as a resort, as well as a lifelong mountaineer, skier and avalanche researcher who wrote many books about his experiences. When Aspen opened in 1946, the Roch Cup was awarded for the first time to Barney McLean, making it one of the oldest trophies for ski racing in the history of the sport. Pick up this original pin from 1968 to put a piece of history on your ski jacket or backpack, or add it to an ever-growing ski memorabilia collection. Size: 1 x 1 inches.
