1900's Tubb's Vintage Ridge Top Touring Skis
W. F. Tubbs Company was founded by Walter Tubbs in Norway, Maine, in 1906. Tubbs manufactured ash snowshoes, skis, sleds and furniture. The company moved to Vermont in the '40s, eventually settling in Brandon. Another company called 'Vermont Tubbs' still exists there, manufacturing wooden furniture. Although more popularly known for snowshoes, the company also manufactured quality skis. This classic pair of vintage wood skis from the early 1900s was produced for the infamous Horace Partridge Sporting Goods Store in Boston. These are super collectable and have a simple mortise and leather binding. Length - 6 feet
