Downhill ski fun is the 1930's on the slopes of Alta Ski Area in Utah. Otto Lang, the director of "Ski Gulls" was born in Bosnia in 1908, where his father served with the Austrian military. Lang's skiing career began as a junior Nordic competitor with the Arlberg club, and ended as a senior alpine racer. Lang's reputation as an instructor, photographer, and author spread quickly through out North America. He shot the movie "Ski Flight" which opened as a complimentary feature to Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", winning an exhibitor's prize as the best short subject of the year. Otto Lang was inducted into the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame in 1978.VHS. Length 8:31
