Description   It is rare to see a photo of Ray Atkeson, the famous photographer as he was always on the other end of the camera. As a resident of Portland Oregon, he is shown here with beautiful Mount Hood in the background. Notice he is proudly holding his new 4 x 5 Hasselblad camera. This photo of Ray was taken sometime in the 1940's. Ray Atkeson was taking pictures and climbing mountains as early as 1933. With a terrific eye for composition and beauty rendered in the gray tones of black-and-white fine art printing, he captured sublime photos primarily throughout the Northwestern United States. Atkeson received many honors for his work, including Oregon's Photographer Laureate and induction into the Photographic Hall of Fame. Photo available in two sizes 8 x 10 or 11 x14  inches.
