The National Ski Patrol System was founded in 1938 by C. Minot "Minnie" Dole. Today the Ski Patrol is active in all the ski areas in America. It is common for skiers of all ages to try and find the brink of both speed and danger. Fortunately, the Ski Patrol is a standard feature of most ski areas in America. They patiently remind all to ski within accepted limits and then expertly help all of those that have gotten into some form of trouble.
