This is a beautiful original 1975 poster of a Gerry Roach photograph depicting a lone hiker in the snow somewhere on the way to the summit of Huascaran, Peru; the top of which is the highest point in all the world's tropics. The cascading peaks in the distance give the photograph really grand scale, and the hiker's silhouette against the white snow is a nice visual. We don't know exactly when this photo was taken, or the name of the climber at the center of the image, but this expedition likely took place between 1968 and 1971.
