He lived in Denver and maintained a second home in Georgetown, Colorado. His watercolors of skiing and winter scenes have a unique and distinctive quality. Skiers may be his most enthusiastic collectors, his works, in their words "...express the real atmosphere and feeling of skiing." His control of the media is apparent -the "wet-in-wet" technique is carried to the ultimate in his softly misty paintings and yet there is nothing timid about them.
