VINTAGE SKIING LINKS
A SPECIAL LINK: In March 2007, members of the International Ski History Association (ISHA) (link below) went to Chamonix, France for the first annual ISHA ski trip. This was an extraordinary trip guided by Penny Pitou, 1960 two-time Olympic medalist. We skied through the entire Chamonix Valley and on the last day went to Courmayeur, Italy through the famous The Mont Blanc tunnel. Our tour of the Dynastar Factory included seeing how the modern skis of today are made. Here’s a link to my photographs of this trip!

Alf Engen Ski Museum (This Ski Museum is located in the Ice Quinney Winter Sports Center at the Utah Olympic Park. It was built to Preserve the rich history of Skiing in the Intermountain Region.)

Mammoth Ski Museum (This is home to the Beekley International Collection of Skiing Art & Literature, located in Mammoth Lakes, CA.)
New England Ski Museum (Is located in Franconia, NH. Its goal is to collect, preserve, and exhibit elements from the broad spectrum of ski history, particularly in New England, for the purposes of research, education, and entertainment.) U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame (This inspiring museum and commeorative site is located in the City of Ishpeming in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the birthplace of organized skiing in the United States. It is home to an extensive collection of artifacts and archives relating to the history of skiing.)
Vermont Ski Museum (Is located in the Old Town Hall, built in 1818, in the Village of Stowe Vermont. Their mission is - to collect, preserve and celebrate Vermont's skiing history.)
